The customer base in the first seven years grew from small private pathology companies interested mainly in Biochemistry reagents, to large private and public hospitals interested mainly in prepared stains for use in Haematology, Histopathology and Microbiology. During this time there were also developments in industrial reagents for water analysis, wine analysis, and specific chemical solution reagents for dedicated on line analysis. For reagent and stain production, the labour of routine preparation, before the analytical task can be commenced, (and the subsequent clean up, test failures, ingredient ordering, personnel and space allocation etc.) can be economically avoided with Amber reagents offering intelligent solutions to modern laboratory problems. Amber is an acronym for Australian Made Biochemical Enzymatic Reagents. The concept of diagnostic intelligence in liquid reagents to aid the modern scientist or technicians analytical task is embodied in the phrase “intelligent solutions” and represented in the logo of the Orca, a logo worthy of a role in your laboratory.
