The company now supplies all the cement plants in Australia and New Zealand with refractory products. The success was due in no mean part to the Companies Managing Director and his experience in movement of several hundred thousand tons of cement from Spain and Greece to the eastern seaboard of the United Sates of America. Subsequent to this exercise he was responsible for the movement of a further 1, 000, 000 tons per year (by rail and sea) from Mexico to the mainland United States of America. It is obvious that the foregoing exercises provide a vast experience in the loading, shipping and discharging of cement at various ports in the USA and other countries. The Company also has expertise in plant optimisation from the limestone quarry, calcining, milling and loading of all products related to the manufacture of cement.
